Yes, I’m doing that…but not the way a “professional” would (for SURE!). We’ve torn it all up, and are putting it back together…in pieces…as inspiration hits…as choices turn into commitments. That’s just how we roll.
You won’t find me starting a room and finishing it in one fell swoop. I’m an overthinker-slowdecisionmaker.
I find some of my best ideas come from trying to make a square peg fit a round hole. Or coming across a quirky pillow that changes how I thought about something. (Or using something someone else posted online that works for me.) So if you like an idea, or share one…that’s fab!
What you’ll find at my house is a little bit happening here, a little bit there and in the end, the whole house gets decorated in a cycle that may very well start over once it’s completed.
Once I figure out how to do it, I’ll categorize the posts so you can track a room’s progress (assuming I make some or anyone but me cares 🙂 This is a just a journal/blog to keep myself on the “straight and narrow.”
But to all you “real” decorator/bloggers out there…thank you for sharing your ideas and inspiration!
