On December 7, 2018 By Em D In Furniture, Interior Projects

We’ve had a 30-year love/hate relationship with our kitchen table. We LOVE not having to set our plates on our laps. Everything else about it… hate. Our original kitchen table was delivered at the end …

Do You Ever Say This?

On July 3, 2018 By Em D In Garden, Outside Projects

“I wish it was three years from now.” There are only two contexts I can think of when I’ve ever dared utter those “wish-your-life away” words: When I was fifteen. Whenever we make a change to the …

You found me!

Hi, I'm Em!
Did you follow the smoke from the garden cart fire?
Yeah...that was me.

I'm all about real-world DIY...
Meaning the "D" usually stands for "do" ... but, hey, sometimes it's a "debacle" that fills the neighborhood with billowing smoke.

So, let's hang out together while I play with home decor, DIY projects, gardening and home improvement.

The nest is empty, but I live with Mr. D & D and two-and-a-half spoiled dogs in a house filled with visiting kiddos, lots of love, occasional bickering, and a little bit of...dust and dog hair.
