Oof! I think I’m phoning it in this year.

On December 8, 2023 By Em D In Christmas, Holidays, Where Bloggers Live

I hope you’ll forgive me, but I’m having a moment. I am SO going to regret saying this… But: Not. Feeling. It. This is likely blasphemy and when January rolls in I will reflect on …

Why your weirdo neighbor still hasn’t taken down the Christmas decorations

On January 10, 2022 By Em D In Christmas, Holidays

Do you have one? That weirdo in your neighborhood who doesn’t know when the party has ended? Not the weirdo neighbor like my parents have, who is just too lazy to pick up the spiral …

On December 11, 2020 By Em D In Christmas, Holidays, Outside Projects, Uncategorized

If you’ve ever visited this time of year, you’d know that usually, from late-November to about the second week of January, we don’t really use lamps at our house. We’re entirely lit by Christmas lights. …

You found me!

Hi, I'm Em!
Did you follow the smoke from the garden cart fire?
Yeah...that was me.

I'm all about real-world DIY...
Meaning the "D" usually stands for "do" ... but, hey, sometimes it's a "debacle" that fills the neighborhood with billowing smoke.

So, let's hang out together while I play with home decor, DIY projects, gardening and home improvement.

The nest is empty, but I live with Mr. D & D and two-and-a-half spoiled dogs in a house filled with visiting kiddos, lots of love, occasional bickering, and a little bit of...dust and dog hair.
